Support for Your Child, Right in Your Community
If you have concerns about your child's development, Thriving Kids can help you access early support without needing an NDIS plan.
Is My Child Eligible?
Thriving Kids is designed for children who need support earlier, before higher-intensity interventions become necessary.
Your child may be eligible if they are:
- Aged 8 years or under
- Showing signs of developmental delay
- Have a diagnosis of autism
- Have low to moderate support needs
- An Australian resident
You don't need to:
- Have an existing NDIS plan
- Have a formal diagnosis to start
- Navigate complex referral pathways
- Wait for lengthy assessments
- Prove a permanent disability
Children with significant or permanent disability, or high support needs, may still be eligible for the NDIS. Our team can help you understand which pathway suits your child.

Does my child need an autism diagnosis to access Thriving Kids?
No. Children can access early navigation and advice without a formal diagnosis. Targeted allied health supports may require some form of assessment, but our navigators can guide you through what's needed.
Will Thriving Kids replace the NDIS?
No. Children with significant disability or high support needs will remain eligible for the NDIS. Thriving Kids is for children with low-to-moderate needs who benefit from earlier, lighter-touch support.
